Meet The Dentist
Dr. Ken Moore, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, brings extensive experience from his service in the U.S. Air Force and as an associate member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. With advanced training in anesthesiology and sedation, he ensures top-notch pain management for his patients. As the team dentist for Indiana University, Dr. Moore has been serving the Bloomington community since 2001.

I don’t understand how all the other reviews are so different from mine unless they are AI bots… This dentist may be excellent, (or so I was told…..) however the office staff, especially the office manager are extremely incompetent at their jobs. I called in to set up appointments for my 8yr old son, my wife and myself. I told them what insurance I/we have and they said YES we accept that. Once my wife took off work and got there she was told they don’t accept HIP Anthem for anyone over 17. Once again I mentioned our insurances and was told they were accepted!! Come to find out they don’t accept Anthem at all!!!! So when I called 45 minutes before my appointment today (11/21/25) just to check again since my wife reminded me before I took off work, I was met with the same response that they don’t accept HIP care source for anyone over 17…. Like why tell me you take it if you don’t??? There’s even more incompetent behavior going on at this dentist office, Like extremely rude and unprofessional attitudes, snobby and snootiness towards patients that pay your bills.!!! I just feel like the boss (Ken Moore) needs to see and read this so he knows what’s going on in his office. Again I truly hope Ken Moore reads this and not some other office personnel who responds with a statement sticking up for their behavior. Very unimpressed with their attitudes towards patients and overall incompetence. All around very poor office personnel. Stay away if you can!!!!!

I have social anxiety and always have a hard time with dental appointments (at least I used to!!) but now I hardly even think about my visits before they happen. Joanna is my dental hygienist and has been taking care of me for a couple of years now. Again, SO FRIENDLY! Probably not the cheapest dentist in town but definitely my favorite. If you’re nervous about the dentist, this could be the right the place for you too!

My anxiety is high when I walk in and they have proven to me that I can have an anxiety free experience with everything from cleanings, fillings, and even a root canal!!! Kudos Dr. Moore and your team.
